Enodah Wilderness Travel / Trout Rock Lodge offers high-quality Trophy Pike Fishing all year round, Aurora viewing experiences by night and dogsled tours by winter. Trout Rock Lodge is the only sportfishing lodge in the 100 miles long North Arm of Great Slave Lake. The beautiful wilderness lodge is a 15-minute floatplane ride or 1.5-hour van/Hagglund ride from Yellowknife.

Trout Rock Lodge is our original location on the shores of the North Arm of Great Slave Lake. A 15-minute plane ride from Yellowknife in summer and a 1.5-hour van and Hagglund ride in winter.

The Weather

From endless summer daylight to aurora perfect winter nights.

Summers are incredible. Not too hot, although can have a stretch of 30ºC, filled with sunshine and socializing, activities and days on the water. This area of Canada receives over 20 hours of daylight during the summer, which means endless pike fishing.

Winters open up so many spectacular activities and adventures. Away from light pollution, our locations are perfect for Aurora Borealis viewing. Winter also means experiencing ice fishing like no other, dog sledding, snowshoeing and snowmobiling.
